Maintaining your Power Station
Purchasing one of our high quality GENSETS is the first and major step to secure power. Chose one of the maintenance contracts detailed on the previous page and have peace of mind that your equipment will continue to operate at peak performance.
Generator maintenance contracts should be discussed with our commissioning engineers following a successful post installation test and hand over demonstration.
All our contracts are completed by qualified engineers booked to evaluate, test and check your genset and it's surroundings. A full report is issued to keep you up to date with the condition and possible issues you should be aware of.
Your GENSET will receive a full service by one of our experienced and fully trained engineers. This incorporates a visual inspection, electrical and mechanical on site load testing.
To comply with original engine manufactures recommendations it is advisable that the service & maintenance programme you chose be contracted for 36 months. Prices given by DSI Power Ltd for all service contracts are for the complete 36 month cover. Your first payment is due on hand over ensuring prompt registration into the emergency cover DATA BASE and your first programmed service visit. Subsequent payments are made following individual routine service visits.
Battery replacement.
GENSET starter and UPS battery life is normally five years. With our considerable resources and over 25 years in the 'trade' we can offer a full battery replacement service.
Relocations.
Moving to a new site and need to relocate you GENSET or UPS? We can help.
Upgrade.
Need a larger set? Contact us for a possible part exchange deal.
Site survey / System health cheeks.
Don't know what you need when it comes to power protection? Not sure what you've already got or what condition it is in? DSI power ltd. provide a free site survey to access your needs.
Repair centre return.
In some cases it may be necessary to return your unit for evaluation, repair or modification. DSI power ltd has it's own Repair Centre where your unit will be tested in control environment without the risk of interrupting your critical load.
Disposal.
When your GENSET - UPS and batteries they have reached the end of their reliable working life or are no longer required DSI are licensed to collect and dispose of them in accordance with environmental guidelines.
